对于刚刚入门的新手来说，识别真假Zippo机的确是件难事，因为现在假zippo也分三六九等，那些做工相对比较粗良的假机，经常能迷惑住新人朋友们善良的眼睛，而且新人现在接触的也多是02年以后生产的机器，所以本贴主要是02年以后生产的常规型zippo做例，向朋友们介绍一下，如何识别真假。

1、包装:

　　真机(通过香港碧基公司进口到中国大陆地区的产品)Zippo的包装做工精美，常见的有四种包装，一种是最廉价的塑料盒(已经推出了新的塑料盒包装，外观比较漂亮，但好象没有以前的方便，有的时候整半天也打不开，烦)如图：

第二是黑色上盖浅黄色底盖的纸盒，如图：

　　其他特殊包装盒就不一一介绍了，在这里要说明一点，就是大家平时在网上或是网下买的水货机其实和正品机一样，不管水货还是正品行货真属于真机之列，都是美国原产。

2、外观:

　　真机外观精美，一般表面无瑕疵，的内胆的打火轮处和凸轮处的铆钉是白色的，

打火轮下边的火石托是黄色的，

　　打火轮下端的火石管顶部的内径和真品zippo火石的直径相当，所以放正真品火石后，左右拨动打火轮，会发现，火石在火石管里不会左右乱动的很厉害，真品的外壳上盖的弧度比较小；

　　假机的内胆多用现成的国产机内胆冒充，一般情况下打火轮处和凸轮处的铆钉是黄色的，当然也有白色的好象不多见，香港明威和新双枪
的内胆上面的打火轮处和凸轮处的铆钉就是白色的，大家要注意，假机打火轮下边的火石托多是白色的，不过现在国内某棉油火机新推出的第二代新型棉油火机的这个位置也变成了和zippo一样的黄色，打火轮下端的火石管顶部的内径比较大和真品zippo火石很不相当，所以放入真品火石后，左右拨动打火轮，会发现，火石在火石管里左右乱动的很厉害，假的zippo外壳上盖的弧度要比真的大一些。真机的铰连是两宽三窄，常规铰连共五小节，第一、三、五比较窄，第二、四节比较宽，如图：

3、手感:

　　真Zippo的手感一般都比较轻，因为Zippo是用特殊的材料制成，是其他仿制品无法做到的；真zippo握在手里会有一种非常皮实的感觉。

4、声音:

　　正品Zippo弹开盖子会有很轻脆的响声(个别产品除外)。假的机子，一般开盖的声音还可以，合盖的声音就比较哑，因为假zippo多用国产内胆，国产棉油火机的内胆凸轮下端的那块小弹簧片很薄，所以声音就要小一些，而且有的时候假zippo在开合的时候会发现，手感很差，有一种粘粘的感觉，开合不是很顺利。

5、打火:

　　真Zippo在没有装油时打火时第一次会感到发涩，那是因为火石是新的原因，而且火石磨擦打出来的不是小小的火星，而是簇的一团火，这也是Zippo之所以说是一打即着的原因之一，加油后打火基本是一打就着，而且火苗也是很稳定的。 真zippo打火轮切割火石的一面，有上下两层条纹，上层的条纹是从右上斜向左下的斜线，下层的条纹是从左上斜向右下的斜线，两条线相交就在打火轮的正面形成了一个一个的小菱形块，

　　打火轮右侧面有从中心向周围的放射状的并且间距比较均匀的细条纹，条纹分两种，一种是一条一条单独放射状的，

　　另一种是两条并排放射状的，两条并排放射线的又分两种，一种是两条线*的非常近的，有的时候不仔细观察会以为是一条细，

　　另一种是两条线间隔有一定距离又不太远的

（这是现阶段的zippo的打火轮，以前还有直纹和斜纹的，在这里就不讨论了），一般假机也有这种小细线，不过这些小细刻的很不正规，粗细不一，没有真机那么规则。

6、标识:

　　真Zippo外壳的底部和内胆身上都有产品标识，外壳底部的标识是介绍产品的生产时间等信息。真zippo表示月分的英文是从a-l的，超过这个范围的100%是假的，真zippo底部标有zippo字样非常清析，而且字母\"i\"上面不是一个点而是一个刻画的非常细的一个zippo传统火焰的图案，火焰轮廓很清析，而假机多数很模糊，真机底部是大写的bradford,pa.而不是bradford.pa.。bardford和pa之间是一个清楚的小逗号，而不是点号，这一点很重要，而且真zippo的底部的四个角不是直角而且是有一定的弧度，假机一般多是直角，如图：

7、棉垫:

　　真Zippo的棉垫很厚，通常情况下可以厚达0.7cm，而且两面都印有英文字体，

　　掀开棉垫加油的时候就能看到。一般仿制品是做不到的(不过现在国内某生产棉油火机的企业也推出一种底部棉垫很厚和zippo差不多差的新油机，大家购买时要注意)，仿品或是假机棉垫很薄，而且棉垫质感比较疏松，没有真机那么密实，真机棉垫上有一个1mm多一点的小孔，有朋友说是从那里上油的，其实那是放备用火石的，如图：

8、内胆:

　　真机的内胆正反两面都清析的刻有zippo的产品信息，有的时候好多朋友说自己买的zippo内胆和外壳底部刻的时间不一样，是不是真的，这是正常的，因为zippo的内胆和外壳不是一同生产的，多数情况下只是月份会差一些，如图：

　　真机的内胆里侧非常干净光滑，亮的可以光镜子，里边的棉球是五小块或是六小块不等，而不是仿制的一整块。真机在火石管左右两侧，另有一个2.5mm左右的小缺口，而假机都是没有的。如图：

　　当然香港产的明威油机在这两个位置也有，不过很不明显，不仔细观察都看不出来。真机的打火轮下面的那块金属片与内胆不是紧密结合在一起的，好象有1mm左右的距离，中间好象是用一种什么材料封住的，假机多是紧密结合在一起的。如图：

　　同时在打火轮下部的内胆外沿是有一定弧度的，并不是直上直下，如图：

　　细心的朋友还会在内胆底部发现问题，就是在内胆底部并不是平的，在凸轮位置正下方的内胆底部，有差不多几毫米长的地方是凹进去的。如图：

9、凸轮:

　　真机的凸轮质体很厚实，而且不亮，有一种发乌的感觉，而假机的凸轮多数都非常光亮新鲜。真机的凸轮目前好象有两种，一种是比较完整的，如图：

　　另一种是大头下端好象被什么东西掐了一下的样子，从国外网站得知，好象是从04年开始改的样子，如图：

10、火芯:

　　真品zippo的火芯很耐烧，一般不会变黑，在点完火合上盖子后再打开盖子，很少发现有冒烟的现象，而假机的火芯很容易烧黑，燃烧的时候也很容易冒黑烟，估计可能是真假的棉质不同。真品棉芯图：

7.——纯铜机，编号很多，无法一一列举，大多数朋友认为，铜机器的开盖声音较清脆，也是一款会磨损的机器，新机可能较为光亮，但是由于表面的镀膜慢慢磨损，会显露出铜的本色，而且易留划痕，样子很沉稳，但是由于铜容易氧化，所以机器可能会出现黑斑或者越来越暗，处理方法是用橡皮或者擦铜水清洁（具体方法在维护板块有详细说明），另外，新的铜机器表面可能会有轻微划痕，属于正常现象，用一段时间，待表面镀膜磨掉后即消失，但是此时机器本身可能由于使用，也留下真正的划痕了，但是可能由于这些划痕，才更显得机器经历沧桑，显出主人的老成。以下是图片，仅供参考，以实物为准。

在这里要说一下，除了1941和1941B的机器内胆外，其他机器高价格的和低价格的内胆基本无差别，机器的价格差异在于它的外壳。
纪念版，年度版，内部职工版和常规版
ZIPPO分为纪念版，年度版，内部职工版和常规版，前三者大多是限量发行，因其特殊意义和数量的限制，所以价格会较高一些，而常规版的机器属于批量发行的，所以价格相对较低。纪念版是对某个公司或产品一个里程碑还有对某个重大历史或人物的纪念，年度版是指ZIPPO公司为了纪念ZIPPO公司度过周年的一种纪念性的机器，内部职工版是指ZIPPO公司专门对内部员工发行的机器，一般发行量同当时员工人数相同。另外年度版的机器一般都按照当年的年份称呼，比如99年的年度版，就叫C99，当然还有其自己的名字，比如C02的名字就叫做“终身好朋友”。

关于刻的问题
单刻，是指在机器下半部分刻上花纹或文字的机器称之为单刻，而上盖无花纹。以下是单刻的样子

复刻，是指近代对以前旧机器款式的仿制，称之为复刻，这里的刻并不是指在机器上刻上花纹。1941和1941B都是复刻，因为它是对1941年生产的机器的样式的仿制。图片和上面1941及1941B的相同。
底刻，每个机器的底部都刻有ZIPPO标志，以及专利号码，生产日期，对于特殊机器，例如盔甲机，年度版，可能会增加一些内容，每个年代生产的机器的底刻不太相同，大家可以到以下网址做以下比较：

关于生产日期
外壳的生产日期，大家可以看ZIPPO的底部，右边的数字代表年份，比如03，就是代表03年的机器，左边的字母代表生产月份，如A就是代表1月，如F就代表6月，依次类推。
早期的ZIPPO月份用X、IX等希腊文字代表（不知道是不是希腊文字：））。
内胆的生产日期，拔出内胆，在起一面，也标有数字和字母，方法同外壳辨别方法相同。
产地
关于ZIPPO的产地，有美国，其机器一粗犷，豪放为主要特色，有韩国，日本机器，其更个为惟美，细致，精致，其实日版机器韩版的机器是从美国拿货，然后回国再加工，ZIPPO机器只有一个生产厂家，也就是只是一家公司在生产，以前加拿大也有工厂，但是停产了。
MAZZI
Claudio Mazzi (MR.Aerografie Straffi)意大利著名艺术家，1996年开始与ZIPPO公司合作，制造手绘ZIPPO，在当年举办的第一次收藏交换集会中，Mazzi的一些重要作品创出了ZIPPO销售与拍卖中的最高价，不久之后，新建成的ZIPPO收藏馆也为这位设计师预留了展位，最初的成功给这位艺术家带来了继续完善的能量和热情，意大利的收藏迷给予他越来越多的爱戴和尊敬。Mazzi手绘机也被全世界越来越多的收藏者所喜爱。
Claudio Mazzi 手绘机大致分为三种类型：
Open Series基本是意大利年册款式，发行量是不确定的，但由于每个ZIPPO都是手工绘制的，所以没有两枚是完全一样的。到目前为止发行量最大的“Tiger”那款一共发行了300枚。
Prototypes and limited Series 限量发行款比普通款更为珍贵，有些是一个系列，这些限量款有的可能只有3个，有的可能有上百个，他的收藏价值比Open Series更要高，难度也更大，其中最著名的是德国发行的“西部”系列，限量250套。
Uniqer Pieces特定款是Mazzi手绘中最为稀少和珍贵的，因为他的每款机器几乎都是由客户定的，他发挥了订购者最大的想象空间和创造力，完全不受任何拘束，但由于Claudio仍有很多ZIPPO机要完成，因此，每年这种特定款只有10到15枚左右

注1:很多外壳和内胆的生产日期不同,这是因为外壳和内胆不是同一条生产线,在封装成品时不是按照日期来靠作的,所以会出现日期不同,但一般不会超过一年^_^

注2:港版,台版等是假货!这是JS给假货冠以的美名,是没有经过厂家授权
